Mazingira Green is an environmental blog and we focus on four thematic areas of interest and expertise, which are; Global Warming, Climate Change, Green Energy and Green Living.
Brought together by the love for a green and clean environment, though from different professions, we, Ben [Justice & Peace] and Paul [ICT], thought of how we can use our different professional knowledge to promote, conserve, and preserve our environmental integrity.
We do this by proposing and promoting the use of green energy solutions to stabilize local, regional and global temperature rise. These action-oriented solutions will directly stops global warming; positively halting the existing threat of extreme climate change.
Progressively, we know and believe that this will make the lives of the people, the animals and the plants much better and more productive. Let us do this together, let us go green! Meet the team
Ben Njuîrî,
Ben Njuîrî is the Founder and Programme Director at Mazingira Green. He is a passionate advocate of environmental integrity, green energy, environmental justice, climate justice and engages in environmental peacebuilding activities.
Ben believes being environmentally aware and being pro-active towards the same forms the core part in mitigating and solving environmental issues as well as resource based conflicts.
He is convinced that Green Energy is the clean future the world should maximumly utilize as the major source of energy. Ben Believes The Future is in Green Energy!
Paul Ikua
My name is Paul Ikua, ICT expert at Mazingira Green. I am passionate about the environment with love for natural landscapes, growing trees, reducing, reusing and recycling materials.
I intend to use my ICT knowledge to solve the environmental problems we are currently facing through innovations and partnership.
I utilize most of my time reading, researching and writing about the environment with more focus on Green Energy and Green Lifestyles. I believe everyone should be well informed and educated about our Natural World and our Heritage.
The Power of Technology, Education and Awareness are my greatest assets. Thank you for passing by.
